Five things we always do.
These aren't values. Values decorate. These are five decisions we've already made about how an engagement runs - before your project starts.
Named the hard part before it named itself.
Every plan we write includes what will not work, what will slip, and what we're unsure of. If we're wrong about the risk we own that too - nine months into a nine-month engagement, that record is the only thing that matters.
In production before it's pretty.
The second sprint ships something a real user sees. If a build takes three months to leave a branch it is not a build; it is an idea with a code repo. We ship increments, then harden them.
Your engineers get more capable, not more dependent.
Every engagement includes deliberate capability transfer. If your team can't change what we built after we leave, we've delivered a liability. Documentation is a byproduct, not a phase.
One number to call. Always.
You do not chase five vendors when something breaks. You call us. We route internally, keep you informed, and take the outage report if we caused it. No sideways-pointing.
Cadence
What the first quarter looks like.
A concrete rhythm. If your first four weeks with us don't look like this, we're doing it wrong.

Assessment kickoff. Existing systems mapped, top three risks named in writing.
- Week 2–3
Target-state design. Options traded off in prose, not slides. One recommendation with the trade you're accepting spelled out.
- Week 4
Sequenced plan agreed. Delivery starts on the first increment; nothing takes longer than two weeks to reach staging.
- Ongoing
Weekly written status. What shipped, what slipped, what changed in the risk register.
- Quarterly
Health review against SLOs, cost budget, and capability transfer scorecard. Roadmap revised with real data.
